We are dedicated to helping the men at Micah's House successfully rebuild their lives in society.
We have already structured the basic “Flier,” Application,” “Rules & Regulations,” and “Savings Account” forms that we will use to help them, but because these forms will certainly need to be revised as we grow closer to the actual beginning of Micah’s House, we have not included them here.
When the time comes to move forward, we will send the "Flier" to prison chapels, education departments, reentry departments, classification departments, and other prison ministries that serve throughout the Florida Department of Corrections letting the men in prison and their supporters know that we are here to help them and how to contact us.
Each potential resident will fill out and submit the "Application," and that will help us better understand him, his needs, his abilities, and how we might best be able to help him. It will also help us determine if he is a good candidate for our program.
"Residence Rules & Regulations" are necessary for us to function soundly, and residents must agree to and live according to them while with us at Micah’s House.
The "Savings Account Agreement" is in the residents’ best interest. Once they are employed, this will require them to place measured savings into an account with us on a regular basis. There will come a day when they leave Micah's House to live completely on their own again, and their savings will help them be financially prepared for that new day.
In closing, we are extremely grateful for your time and attention to what we have provided here, and our hope and prayer is that we have been able to present everything clearly to you.
Again, thank you, and God bless!
